Bob Odenkirk is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker who portrayed Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad (2008–2013) and its spin-off Better Call Saul (2015–2022). He co-created and starred in the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David (1995–1998). Odenkirk has received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work on Better Call Saul, and he also earned six nominations as a producer for Outstanding Drama Series. His film credits include Nebraska (2013), The Post (2017), and the lead role in the action film Nobody (2021). Odenkirk won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1989 for his work on Saturday Night Live.
