Bob Einstein is an American actor and comedy writer who created the character Super Dave Osborne. He gained recognition for his performances as Marty Funkhouser in Curb Your Enthusiasm and Larry the Middleman in Arrested Development. Einstein began his career on various television variety shows, including The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour and The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour. He received two Emmy Awards for writing and was nominated four additional times, along with winning a CableACE Award for his role as Super Dave. Einstein appeared in Ocean's Thirteen (2007). His family includes his father, radio comedian Harry Einstein, and his brother, actor Albert Brooks.
