Bille Brown was an Australian Shakespearean actor and playwright who was a commissioned writer with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He began his career with the Queensland Theatre Company after graduating from the University of Queensland. Brown's notable performances include roles in 'Killer Elite' (2011) and various works with the RSC. He received the Centenary Medal in 2001 and was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2011.
