Bill Nye is an American science educator and television presenter who hosted the PBS series Bill Nye the Science Guy from 1993 to 1998. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and worked as an engineer before transitioning to science communication. Nye is known for the Emmy award-winning show Bill Nye the Science Guy, as well as his Netflix series Bill Nye Saves The World, which premiered in 2017. He has also authored several books, including the New York Times Bestseller Undeniable. In addition to his media work, Nye serves as the CEO of The Planetary Society, promoting space science and exploration.
