Bijou Thaangjam is a chef and actor who gained prominence for his role as Naobi in the biopic Mary Kom (2014). He began his acting career after moving to Mumbai in 2012 and has since appeared in various films including Shivaay (2016), Paltan (2018), and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect (2022). In addition to his film work, he has participated in reality shows like MasterChef India season 2 and UTVStars Superstar Santa. Thaangjam has also featured in web series such as The Test Case and Aspirants. He owns a personal care brand called MadhabiGi® and has launched a production house named Cicada Film Production, focusing on content from Northeast India. His performance in Lembi Leima earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at several international film festivals.
