Bert Remsen was an American actor who played a significant role in Robert Altman's Brewster McCloud (1970). His character roles include appearances in McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971), Nashville (1975), and Daddy's Dyin'...Who's Got the Will? (1990). Remsen appeared in the television series Dallas as Harrison 'Dandy' Dandridge in 1987. After an injury on a TV set led him away from acting, he initially worked as a casting director for Brewster McCloud before being persuaded by Altman to take on an acting role. He was briefly married to actress Katherine MacGregor. Remsen's filmography includes Borderline (1980).
