Benicio del Toro is a Puerto Rican actor who won an Academy Award for his performance in Traffic (2000). He made his film debut in Big Top Pee-wee (1988) and gained prominence with his role as an unintelligible crook in The Usual Suspects (1995). Del Toro has appeared in numerous notable films, including 21 Grams (2003), Savages (2012), and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). His work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe includes the character Collector across three films from 2013 to 2018. He also starred in the Wes Anderson film The French Dispatch (2021) and received an Emmy nomination for his role in the miniseries Escape at Dannemora (2018).
