Benedict Wong is an English actor known for his portrayal of Kublai Khan in the Netflix series Marco Polo (2014–2016). He began his film career with Dirty Pretty Things (2002), which earned him a nomination for a British Independent Film Award. Wong has appeared in several notable films including The Martian (2015), Annihilation (2018), and Gemini Man (2019). He plays Wong in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting with Doctor Strange (2016) and continuing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
