Bear Grylls is a British adventurer and television presenter who gained prominence through his series Man vs. Wild (2006–2011), originally known as Born Survivor: Bear Grylls in the UK. He has participated in various wilderness survival shows across the UK and the US. Grylls was appointed the youngest Chief Scout in the UK in July 2009. His notable works include Arthur the King (2024) and other adventure-related programs. Educated at prestigious institutions, he has a degree in Hispanic studies from Birkbeck, University of London. Grylls is also a skilled climber and skydiver, having earned a black belt in Shotokan karate.
