Bashar Rahal is a Bulgarian actor who made his film debut in Ivan i Aleksandra (1989) at the age of 15. He began his acting career in television sketches at 12 and later joined a professional theater group, participating in over 15 performances, including works by Shakespeare and Chekhov. Rahal gained popularity through the hit TV show It Can't Be, which won the Golden Melon award for best comedy show in Bulgaria. He moved to California in 1999 to further his acting career and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. His notable film appearances include roles in El Gringo (2012) and Boyka: Undisputed IV (2016). Rahal's performance in the film War, Inc. featured a standout character.
