Barbara Bach is an American actress who gained fame for her role as Russian secret agent Major Anya Amasova in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). She began her acting career in Italy with the TV mini-series Odissea in 1968, initially credited as Barbara Gregorini. Her filmography includes notable works such as Black Belly of the Tarantula (1971), Stateline Motel (1973), and The Great Alligator (1979). After moving to Los Angeles in the mid-1970s, she became known in the genre of horror films and was labeled the 'Queen of the B Movies' by some media. Barbara married musician Ringo Starr in 1981, and they have since focused on philanthropy and personal development.
