Bacary Sagna is a French former professional footballer who played as a right-back. He started his career with Auxerre, securing the Coupe de France during the 2004–05 season. Sagna later joined Arsenal in 2007, where he made more than 280 appearances and won the FA Cup in the 2013–14 season. In 2014, he moved to Manchester City, winning the EFL Cup in the 2015–16 season. Internationally, he earned over 60 caps for the France national team, participating in the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship. Sagna appeared in the film The Bus: A French Football Mutiny (2026).
