Baalaji S U debuted as an actor in the feature film Chithha (2023), which stars Siddharth. He initially gained experience in the film industry by acting in the short film '2 idli 2 vadai' for the competitive show 'Naalaiya Iyakkunar' on Kalaignar TV. Baalaji also worked as an Associate Director with S U Arunkumar on the film Sindhubaadh (2019), featuring Vijay Sethupathi.
