Ayo Edebiri is an American actress and comedian who gained prominence for her role as Sydney Adamu in the comedy-drama series The Bear (2022–2026). She initially made her mark as a writer on Big Mouth (2020–2025), where she also voiced the character Missy. Edebiri has appeared in various films, including Bottoms (2023) and After the Hunt (2025). She lends her voice in projects like Inside Out 2 (2024). In recognition of her work, she has received an Emmy and two Actor Awards. Edebiri has also made her Broadway debut in Proof (2026).
