Ayesha Dharker is an Indian actress who gained recognition for her role in the Tamil film The Terrorist (1999). Her performance in this film earned her the Best Artistic Contribution by an Actress award at the Cairo International Film Festival, along with nominations for a Chlotrudis Award and a National Film Award for Best Actress. Dharker has also appeared in international projects, including Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) and The Mistress of Spices (2005). Additionally, she has featured in the television series Arabian Nights and performed in the musical Bombay Dreams on both the West End and Broadway.
