Avan Jogia is a Canadian actor who gained attention for his role as Danny Araujo in the television film A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story (2006). He portrayed Danny Desai in the series Twisted (2013) and played Tutankhamun in Tut (2015). His film credits include Zombieland: Double Tap (2019) and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021), where he starred as Leon S. Kennedy. Jogia is also an author and musician, having co-founded the LGBT organization Straight But Not Narrow and published his book Mixed Feelings in 2019. He is part of the band Saint Ivory, contributing as a vocalist and instrumentalist.
