Austin Butler is an American actor who gained significant attention for his role as Tex Watson in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). He began his career in television, featuring in Disney Channel and Nickelodeon productions, including Zoey 101 (2007–2008) and later in The Shannara Chronicles (2016–2017). His portrayal of Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann's biopic Elvis (2022) earned him a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe Award, along with an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Butler has also appeared in the Apple TV+ miniseries Masters of the Air (2024) and Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two (2024). He made his Broadway debut in The Iceman Cometh (2018).
