Assumpta Serna is a Spanish actress who portrayed the character Teresa Moreno in the ITV Richard Sharpe series. She has appeared in notable films such as I, the Worst of All (1990), Nostradamus (1994), The Craft (1996), and Wild Orchid (1989). In addition to her film work, Serna played Catherine of Aragon in a 2003 ITV drama about King Henry VIII and featured in the Spanish series Aquí no hay quien viva. An accomplished author, she has written two books on acting technique and teaches various acting courses. Serna has also served as president of AISGE, Spain's main actors' union.
