Assad Zaman is an English actor who plays the vampire Armand in Interview with the Vampire (2022–). He studied acting at the Manchester School of Theatre, graduating in 2013. Zaman made his London stage debut in 2014 and has participated in notable productions such as Behind the Beautiful Forevers, White Teeth, and A Doll's House. His television credits also include Apple Tree Yard (2017) and Hotel Portofino (2022–2023). In addition to his acting career, Zaman has written and directed, with his short play Laundry produced in 2021. He made his directorial debut with The Fox and the Grapes in June 2024.
