Asia Argento is an Italian actress, singer, model, and director who directed her first feature film, Scarlet Diva, in 2000. She began her acting career at a young age, appearing in her father Dario Argento's film Demons 2 at ten years old. Argento received the David di Donatello award for Best Actress twice, first in 1994 for Perdiamoci di vista and again in 1996 for Compagna di viaggio. She gained international recognition for her role as Yelena, a Russian undercover spy, in the 2002 action film xXx alongside Vin Diesel. In addition to her acting, she has directed several films, including The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things in 2004.
