Ashoke Viswanathan is a director who has been active in film and video media, having directed over 150 films and television programs. He holds a postgraduate degree in film direction from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, and completed a certificate course in video production in 1986. His notable works include the feature films '1+1=3 Ora Tinjon' (2015) and 'Bhrashta Tara' (2015). Viswanathan has received three National Awards and two International Awards, with several of his films featured in the Indian Panorama sections of IFFI across various years. He has also served as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Direction at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute.
