He has worked extensively in various capacities including theatre artist, Bharatnatyam dancer, and choreographer for Western contemporary jazz and freestyle Bollywood. His experience spans Hindi films, advertisements, and music videos. Additionally, he is skilled in martial arts, film stunts, and gymnastics. Balakrishnan is also the founder and director of 'Freak-A-Thon', and he has contributed as a producer, director, writer, and vocalist. He appears in the film E-Mail (2024).
