Arundathi Nag is a South Indian polyglot film actress and theatre personality who was awarded the 57th National Film Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Paa (2009). With over 25 years of experience in multilingual theatre, she began her career in Mumbai with the Indian People's Theatre Association, engaging in productions across Gujarati, Marathi, and Hindi. After marrying actor-director Shankar Nag, she continued her theatrical work in Bangalore, where she realized her late husband's dream by establishing the Ranga Shankara theatre. Nag's film credits include Dil Se.. (1998) and Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1997). She received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in Theatre Acting in 2008.
