Arthur Malet was an English actor known for his role as Mr. Dawes, Jr. in Mary Poppins (1964). He emigrated to the United States during the 1950s, where he began his career on stage and earned two Drama Desk Awards in 1957. Malet's filmography includes notable appearances in Halloween (1978), The Secret of NIMH (1982), and Hook (1991), where he portrayed Tootles. He also appeared in a 1972 episode of Columbo titled "Dagger of the Mind" and played a village elder in Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein (1974). Malet's work in The Black Cauldron (1985) further demonstrated his acting skills.
