Ariel Schulman is an American director who co-directed the documentary Catfish, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. He frequently collaborates with Henry Joost, with whom he directed the horror films Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) and Paranormal Activity 4 (2012), as well as the action thriller Project Power (2020). Their work extends beyond feature films, having directed numerous commercials and short films, including the Google commercial Dear Sophie. Schulman also served as an executive producer on Catfish the TV Show. He will direct an adaptation of Edward Abbey's novel The Monkey Wrench Gang.
