Antony Starr is a New Zealand actor who played the role of Homelander in The Boys (2019–2026). He gained prominence for his performances in television, notably portraying Jethro and Van West in Outrageous Fortune (2005–2010) and Lucas Hood in Banshee (2013–2016). Starr received the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in the film Wish You Were Here (2012) and was nominated for the New Zealand Film Award for Best Actor for After the Waterfall (2010). He also appears in Cobweb (2023) and G20 (2025).
