Antonique Smith is an American actress and singer who starred as Mimi in the Broadway production of Rent. She gained prominence as the poster girl for the show, featured on taxi cabs and posters nationwide. Smith portrayed Faith Evans in Notorious (2009), which tells the story of the rapper The Notorious B.I.G., and appeared in season 2 of the Netflix series Marvel's Luke Cage. She has also expanded her career into music, recording an album after her time in Rent. She will appear in Wish You Were Here (2025).
