Annie Potts is an American actress who was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her role in Corvette Summer (1978). She gained recognition for her performances in notable films such as Ghostbusters (1984), Pretty in Pink (1986), and Ghostbusters II (1989). Potts voiced the character Bo Peep in the Toy Story series, appearing in Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2 (1999), and Toy Story 4 (2019). On television, she starred as Mary Jo Jackson Shively in the sitcom Designing Women (1986–1993) and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for her role in Love & War (1993–1995). In addition to her film work, she appeared in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) and will feature in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024).
