Annette Frier is a German actress who starred in the RTL series Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast (1997-2000). She studied classical acting at the German theater school 'Der Keller' and began her career in theater in Cologne. Frier transitioned to television with roles in the thriller Post Mortem and the crime series SK Kölsch. In 1998, she started her comedy career on the Pro7 show Switch, and from 2000 to 2002, she co-hosted the Wochenshow. Frier has been a regular on the improvisational comedy show Schillerstraße since 2004 and has appeared in the children's program Sesamstraße. She received a Golden Romy award in 2006 for her work on Schillerstraße. Frier appeared in Jim Button and the Wild 13 (2020).
