Anne Jeffreys is an American actress and singer who made her film debut in I Married an Angel (1942). She began her career in the entertainment industry as a soprano, performing with the New York Municipal Opera Company and at Carnegie Hall. Throughout the 1940s, she was under contract with RKO and Republic Studios, appearing as Tess Trueheart in the Dick Tracy series and in the musical Step Lively (1944). Jeffreys also featured in the horror comedy Zombies on Broadway (1945) and starred in Riffraff (1946). Her later work includes a role in Sins (2012).
