Anna Maria Horsford is an American actress who played Thelma Frye in the NBC sitcom Amen (1986–91). She portrayed A.D.A. Beth Encardi on FX's The Shield and Vivienne Avant on CBS's The Bold and the Beautiful. Her film career includes notable appearances as Betty, Craig Jones' mother, in Friday (1995) and its sequel Friday After Next (2002), as well as roles in Times Square (1980), The Fan (1981), and Set It Off (1996). Horsford's performance in The Bold and the Beautiful earned her Daytime Emmy nominations in 2016 and 2017. She also appeared in Along Came a Spider (2001).
