Ann Robinson is an American actress who gained prominence with her leading role as Sylvia Van Buren in The War of the Worlds (1953). She began her career as a stunt woman before being signed by Paramount in the 1950s. Robinson reprised her role in the War of the Worlds television series and appeared in the 2005 film adaptation directed by Steven Spielberg. After a brief marriage to matador Jaime Bravo, she primarily took on minor roles, particularly in science fiction films. She played a small part in War of the Worlds (2005).
