Anika Noni Rose is an American actress who voiced Tiana in The Princess and the Frog (2009). She starred as Lorrell Robinson in the Oscar-winning film Dreamgirls (2006), which earned her a Grammy nomination for its soundtrack. Rose's stage work includes her Tony Award-winning role as Emmie Thibodeaux in the Broadway production of Caroline, or Change (2004) and a nomination for her performance as Beneatha Younger in the 2014 revival of A Raisin in the Sun. She also lent her voice to characters in Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018) and Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020). In 2011, she was honored as a Disney Legend.
