Angeliki Papoulia is a Greek actress who starred as the older daughter in Dogtooth (2009), which received the Prix Un Certain Regard at Cannes and was nominated for an Academy Award. She graduated from Athens University with a degree in Theatre Studies and has appeared in various films, including Matchbox (2002), Alps (2011), and The Lobster (2015), the latter winning The Jury Prize at Cannes. In 2004, she co-founded the blitz theatre group, where she has been involved in writing, directing, and acting in performances at several prestigious festivals across Europe. Papoulia received the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Actress for her role in Dogtooth at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2009.
