Andrzej Chyra is a Polish actor who made his film debut in Order of Affection (1993). He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Gerard Nowak in Debt (Dług) (1999), which earned him the Best Actor award at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Chyra's talent was further acknowledged in 2005 with another Best Actor award at the same festival for his role in Komornik. He also received a nomination in 2006 for his performance in We're All Christs. In addition to his film work, he appeared in Elles (2011).
