Andrea Werhun is a Canadian writer, performer, and producer who co-created the memoir Modern Whore: A Memoir (2022) with filmmaker Nicole Bazuin. She starred in the adaptation of this work, which will be a major motion picture with Sean Baker as an executive producer. In 2023, she co-wrote, produced, and performed in the short film Thriving: A Dissociated Reverie, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was named one of TIFF Canada's Top Ten 2023. Andrea has also been involved in award-winning projects such as Modern Whore and Last Night at the Strip Club. She has written for various publications, including The Globe & Mail. Andrea Werhun played a significant role in the film Modern Whore (2025).
