Andie MacDowell is an American actress who gained prominence for her performance in Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989), earning her the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. She has starred in numerous romantic comedies and dramas, including Green Card (1990), Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), and Groundhog Day (1993). MacDowell also appeared in supporting roles in films such as Ready or Not (2019) and Magic Mike XXL (2015). In addition to her film work, she co-starred with her daughter in the Netflix miniseries Maid (2021), which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. MacDowell has been a spokeswoman for L'Oréal since 1986.
