Amy Ryan is an American actress who received an Academy Award nomination for her role in Gone Baby Gone (2007). She gained prominence through her performances in the HBO series The Wire, where she portrayed Port Authority Officer Beadie Russell, and In Treatment as psychiatrist Adele Brousse. Ryan also appeared in the popular series The Office as Holly Flax. Her film credits include Central Intelligence (2016), Late Night (2019), and Lost Girls (2020). Ryan's career began with a national tour of Biloxi Blues shortly after graduating from New York's High School of Performing Arts.
