Amy Morton is an American actress and director who was nominated for two Tony Awards for her performances in August: Osage County and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. She gained recognition for her roles in films such as Rookie of the Year (1993), Up in the Air (2009), The Dilemma (2011), and Bluebird (2013). In addition to her film work, Morton has portrayed Sergeant Trudy Platt in the NBC series Chicago P.D. since 2014.
