Amrita Singh made her Bollywood debut in 1983 with the hit film Betaab, where she starred alongside Sunny Deol. Following this, she enjoyed a series of successful films, including Mard (1985), which was the highest-grossing film of that year, and Khudgarz (1987). Singh has shared the screen with prominent actors such as Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan throughout her career. In addition to leading roles, she has portrayed supporting negative characters in films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992) and Aaina (1993), the latter earning her the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.
