Amr Waked is an Egyptian actor who made his film debut in "Gannet El Shayateen" (1998). He studied economics and theatre at the American University in Cairo and gained early experience with the Temple Theatre Troop and Yaaru Theatre Troop. Waked's international career began with his role in "Syriana" (2005), which led to further opportunities in films such as "House Of Saddam" and "Salmon Fishing In The Yemen". He has appeared in notable titles including "Geostorm" (2017) and "Wonder Woman 1984" (2020). In addition to acting, Waked co-founded "zad communication & production llc" to address social issues in the region, producing the film "Winter Of Discontent" (2012) that premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
