Amerigo Fontani is an Italian actor who played Rodolfo in Life Is Beautiful (1997). A graduate of the Vittorio Gassman stage actor's theater workshop, he has appeared in various films including The Hunting Season (2004) and The Suite (2010). On television, Fontani portrayed Claudius in the soap opera Mercalli in 2003 and later joined the cast of Centovetrine, where he appeared from November 2008 until early 2010. He returned to the soap in April 2011. Fontani's diverse roles showcase his experience in both film and television.
