Amanda Donohoe is an English actress who made her film debut in Foreign Body (1986). She gained early fame through her relationship with pop singer Adam Ant, appearing in music videos for his hits in the early 1980s. Donohoe starred alongside Oliver Reed in Castaway (1986) and featured in Ken Russell's films The Lair of the White Worm (1988) and The Rainbow (1989). She later moved to the United States, where she won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her role as C.J. Lamb on the NBC series L.A. Law (1990–1992). In the film Liar Liar (1997), she also played a significant role.
