Alyson Hannigan is an American actress who played Willow Rosenberg in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003). She portrayed Lily Aldrin in How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014), which earned her a People's Choice Award in 2009. Hannigan portrayed Michelle Flaherty in the American Pie film series, appearing in films from 1999 to 2012. She has hosted the show Penn & Teller: Fool Us since 2016 and lends her voice to Claire Clancy in the animated series Fancy Nancy. She appeared in American Pie 2 (2001).
