Allen Leech is an Irish actor who portrayed Tom Branson in the historical drama series Downton Abbey (2010–2015). He made his professional acting debut in a 1998 production of A Streetcar Named Desire and gained recognition in film with his role as Vincent Cusack in Cowboys & Angels (2003). Leech earned an Irish Film & Television Awards nomination for his performance in Man About Dog (2004) and later starred in the series Love Is the Drug (2004). He appeared in The Imitation Game (2014) as John Cairncross and played Paul Prenter in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018). Leech has also reprised his role in the Downton Abbey franchise, including Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022).
