Alison Doody is an Irish actress who gained prominence for her role as Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). She began her career in modeling after being discovered by a photographer while sitting in a café, which led to her acting debut in A View to a Kill (1985). Following her breakthrough, she became a spokesperson for L'Oréal and appeared in several films, including Allan Quatermain et la pierre des ancêtres (2004) and the short film Benjamin's Struggle (2005). Doody took a hiatus from acting to focus on family but returned to the industry with a renewed passion. She appeared in RRR (2022) and expressed a desire to take on diverse roles beyond her past portrayals.
