Alicia Witt is an American actress who played Alia in Dune (1984). She began speaking at two and reading by four. Witt was discovered by director David Lynch while performing Shakespeare on television at the age of five. She has appeared in various films, including 88 Minutes (2007), Last Holiday (2006), and Bending The Rules (2012). In addition to acting, she is a singer-songwriter and pianist, having studied piano at Boston University.
