Alicia Silverstone is an American actress who made her film debut in the thriller The Crush (1993). She gained significant attention as a teen idol after appearing in Aerosmith's music video for "Cryin'" and starred as Cher Horowitz in the teen comedy Clueless (1995). Other notable films include Batman & Robin (1997) and Excess Baggage (1997). Silverstone received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the NBC series Miss Match (2003). In addition to her acting career, she is a vegan advocate and has authored two cookbooks. Silverstone appeared in The Lodge (2020).
