Alice Playten is an American actress known for her distinctive high-pitched voice. She started her career in theater, performing in various on and off-Broadway productions. Playten's film credits include roles in Who Killed Mary What's 'Er Name? (1971), Heavy Metal (1981), and Legend (1984). In addition to her live-action performances, she was involved in voice acting, notably in the animated series Doug (1991-1999) and its film adaptation. Playten appeared in The Rebound (2009).
