Alice Krige is a South African actress who made her feature film debut as Sybil Gordon in the Academy Award-winning film Chariots of Fire (1981). She portrayed the Borg Queen in Star Trek: First Contact and reprised this role in the series finale of Star Trek: Voyager. Krige has appeared in various genres, including horror with Silent Hill (2006) and fantasy with The Little Vampire (2000). Her work spans both film and television, with notable appearances in Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Echoes of the Past (2021). She has been awarded an honorary doctorate in literature from Rhodes University.
